 We are currently working on getting a certified list from the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery into database form. This feature should be available soon.
In the meantime, the best place to start for finding a qualified surgeon is talking to your primary care doctor. At the very least, make sure that the surgeon that you are referred to is a designated Bariatric Center of Excellence. These bariatric programs have demonstrated superior levels of quality and care, perform at least a certain number of obesity surgeries per year, and have the lowest complication rates.
